IB Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)
The IB PYP programme is not about the content of teaching, but about the approach to teaching. This means that we implement the Polish core curriculum according to the guidelines and high educational standards of the IB organisation.
- Designed for students aged 3 – 12.
- Focuses on developing a student that is inquisitive and curious about the world.
- Emphasises an intercultural perspective.
- Sensitises students to local and global problems.
- Uwrażliwia uczniów na problemy lokalne i globalne.
- Equips students with skills that are important in the process of lifelong learning.
IB PYP focuses on transdisciplinary education.
The learning content is organised around 6 thematic circles:
Who are we?
At what time and place do we live?
How do we express ourselves?
How does the world work?
How we organise our time and the space around us?
We share the planet.
